These clients are amazing! We were really honored to be a part of this large scale home renovation and these clients placed all their trust in us to deliver what they've been dreaming about for years!
The main focus of this project was the kitchen, but it ultimately touched almost every room of the home, including an open concept eat-in kitchen that doubled the kitchen's size!), 2 full bathrooms and one of our favorite elements: a custom living room feature wall with shiplap, a fireplace, a rustic mantel, and an integrated TV.
The design felt cohesive rather than treating each space as a separate update. It was a great collaboration between the client's vision for the finishes and our design. From cabinetry and finishes to the layout and proportions of the fireplace wall, every decision considered placement and flow so each room works well independently, while the home feels connected overall.
The Kitchen
The kitchen was redesigned with daily use and entertaining at the forefront. The layout was reworked to improve flow, storage, and functionality. Finishes were kept clean and balanced so the space feels open yet warm.
Everything was chosen to support real life; busy mornings, shared meals, and everyday living.
Two Full Bathrooms
Both bathrooms were gut renovated, focusing on function, durability, and aesthetics. Layouts and finishes were selected to feel fresh and cohesive with the rest of the home, while still being practical and easy to live with for years to come.
Living Room Feature Wall
The living room centers around a custom-built shiplap feature wall with an integrated fireplace, rustic oak mantel, and wall hung TV. This element redefined the space, adding structure and a clear focal point without overpowering the room. A special thank you to Tapley Saw Mill in Essex for sourcing the large 8x8 white oak mantel piece that was perfectly aged and weathered before we refinished it to match the newly refinished floors.
