After searching for contractors for months, and being burned by a couple other contractors’ estimates, Kelly & I saw a Savory Homes sign in our neighborhood. I’d been in beautiful houses he’d updated before, but had no idea he’d started general contracting privately. Dave came over within 24 hours of my call and met with Kelly & I. Although we had a design already prepared, he made recommendations for improvement on the spot, and got us a complete estimate within days. His crew started a few weeks later, and actually began demolition early after consulting with us to help coordinate the schedule with upcoming subcontractor vacations (and our own). His crew was diligent, clean, thorough, and meticulous. The tile work installed by Ben Parisian, his in-house tile guy, exceeded our expectations. The finish carpentry was like no-other. And best of all, his team managed to do the project in 6-weeks while keeping at least one bathroom in service for us at all times. Dave was incredibly responsive to us throughout the project, even calling me after-hours after I texted him with questions. Lastly, and maybe most importantly, he completed the project on-time and right on-budget. Our favorite memory of this project is when we came home one day and Dave and his crew had built a Frozen Castle out of a cabinet box for my two-year old daughter to play in. It’s things like this that make Savory Homes stand out from all the others. We will be using Savory Homes again!”
